Michael Kelly is a dedicated educator, coach, and administrator with over three decades of experience in Texas public schools. A proud graduate of Sam Houston State University and Texas A&M University–Kingsville, Michael has taught a wide range of subjects and held leadership roles including Athletic Director, Assistant Principal, and Safety Director. His career is marked by a passion for student success, championship-winning coaching, and innovative programs like “Increase the Peace.” In You Make A Difference: Educational Success Through the Four Pillars, he draws on his extensive background to empower educators and leaders to make a lasting impact.

Michael Kelly earned his Bachelor of Arts in Teaching from Sam Houston State University in 1983, completing the university’s coaching emphasis program. That same year, he received the Joe Kirk Award as the Outstanding Kinesiology Student. In 1987, Michael went on to earn a Master of Science in Public School Administration from Texas A&M University–Kingsville.
Michael is Texas certified and has successfully taught a wide range of subjects, including Government, Economics, U.S. History, Texas History, World Geography, World History, Psychology, Sociology, and Physical Education.
